I am so excited to finally read this book!! I have been following Dr. Mimi since we met at a course that she was lecturing at. I am a gastric sleeve patient and have lost 120 pounds at this time, but when I met Dr. Mimi, I was struggling. Using her advice has been life-saving! I love that she sets out step by step how to accomplish each task in resetting your life. Attitude is so important. Life is not over without donuts! But our old life is! It has to be. I love that she includes Overeaters Anonymous as a resource. This is an underused resource!!! There are so many of us who struggle with food! And we need it to live!! Using food as fuel takes practice and planning. Fail to plan..... so true!!! Learning how to plan is key! I am so excited to have a step by step reminder of how to stay on track to be healthier!! As a nurse practitioner, I try very hard to walk out what I am asking of my patients! This is an excellent tool to help me do that and help my patients do the same!!!!

I attended a professional conference where Mimi Secor was a speaker and learned about her book. I was feeling inspired after hearing her speak about her own health transformation. I decided to buy this book (Kindle version). It was a very easy read and really helped inspire me to work on making some lifestyle changes to be healthier. I was not overweight when I started to make these changes, but was unhappy with the number on the scale, which continued to creep up. I wanted to be healthier! I started logging my food and getting exercise almost daily. I've been able to lose about 13 pounds and feel healthier and my mood is better thanks to the regular exercise. There is no better investment than your health.

I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to make a health/fitness transformation. I first met Mimi through social media via our shared coach Bonnie Switzer IFBB Pro. Mimi and I became instant friends and cheerleaders for one another. Being 55 and doing my first show at 52 after weight loss I can tell you that Debut A New You is honest, insightful and spot on. I feel Mimi made this book simple and easy and uncomplicated to understand and put into action; which in my opinion is how healthy eating and fitness should be. She provides truthful and hopeful aspirations that we all truly can change our health at any age. It is true, I never stepped into a gym until I was 50! I absolutely loved this book and encourage you to read it, you will be so happy you did.

This is a MUST read for those who wants to transform their life around and their health regardless of age. As a nurse and now a Family Nurse Practitioner, sometimes caring for others takes precedence over own health. This book truly inspires me. Each person has the capacity to turn over a new leaf if we apply all the 5 principles that Dr. Mimi and Coach Kat mentioned in this book.1. Take responsibility for your health2. Do yourself a favor, grab this book… it will energize and motivate you to become fit and healthy.

I love that it's never too late to chase your dreams or get healthier. I worked at a gym, and watched one lady compete in figure competition in her 50s. Yes, I'm sure it's harder because of other responsibilities, but it really comes down to how much do you want it? What's your why. Go get it!

Just when you think that you're too old to change, to improve your health, your body and self esteem - "Debut A New You Transforming Your Life At Any Age" comes out - wakes you up, opens your eyes to the reality that it's NEVER TOO LATE!! Great read - anyone, at any age, and everyone needs to read this book!!

A great easy read.I have overeaten for 60 years and I needed your book.I really appreciated the "Mindset" section.The "5 second rule" and "Sundowning and Losing Will Power" have been useful and easy concepts for me to understand, embrace and implement.Thanks for the insights!
